The Association for Palliative Medicine of Great Britain and Ireland (APM) is one of the world’s largest representative bodies of medical and healthcare professionals practicing or interested in Palliative Medicine. The APM unites over 1400 members globally, championing palliative care professionals. Membership is open to doctors, medical professionals and undergraduates. We strive to amplify members' voices worldwide.
PCICC and epcin
Working Together
The Palliative Care in Critical Care (PCiCC) and the End-of-Life and Palliative Care in the ICU Research Network (EPCIN) are joining forces, uniting for a greater impact.
- PCiCC brings the hands-on, frontline experience—sharing pragmatic approaches, real-world challenges, and lessons learned from delivering palliative care in the ICU and building working relationships to do so.
- EPCIN drives forward discussion on peer-reviewed evidence, shares researcher insights, and provides a platform for collaborative research in the field of end-of-life and palliative care in ICU.
The two overlap and intertwine and together, they are two interlocking pieces of the same puzzle, working towards the same goal: sharing knowledge to advance ICU-based palliative care for patients, families, and healthcare professionals alike.
